Improvisational music spanning the abyss to the dawn. Albedo Gravitas releases its first studio album!
This is the second album from Albedo Gravitas, an improvisation unit featuring Keiko Higuchi (voice, vocals, piano), Sachiko (voice, electronics, percussion, melodica), and Shizuo Uchida (4-string). Their sound is characterized by unique improvisational performances—where piano, bass, electronics, and melodica intertwine with protean vocals—creating a sonic landscape that seems to tear through the stagnant air. The group performs regularly in Tokyo and released their first live album, *Eihwaz*, via the French label An’archives in 2021; this release marks their first studio album. It is a deep sonic journey—like wandering through quiet darkness, drawing deep breaths and tracing the veins of the soul while discovering a ghostly phosphorescence.
